Just a Friendly Word for the Day to think about in our Daily Walk.....

by Kurt D. McGaha on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 1:13pm
Let us not become like the Deeper meaning in our Walk with God and Jesus in this life that is well described in John 11:1. There are 3 close friends, each in a state of Emotional and Physical being at their appointed moment in time. We need to look at the state of our lives right NOW. Are we walking in Faith moment by Moment with eyes set on Him, no matter WHAT we are doing. We are commanded to become Servants of the Most High God. WE are the ones that He DOES shower out Blessings on, But it is still our REASONABLE Service to be ready to listen when He speaks. Many times we get even OUR Christian lives too busy, thinking wholeheartedly that we ARE serving God, but have we maybe got just a LITTLE bit too busy? We can get caught up quickly in "Doing things for God" But, yet, we might get too busy to hear His Voice calling us to speak with Him. What an Honor we truly have as Christians! We have actually been CALLED to come speak with the Father! As a Father desires to speak to his children when they have a question, or if he just wants to take you out, just you and Him sometimes. There are other times when father's want to take their kids out to eat. The same way they will entertain their children with the wonders of the world around them, the Father in Heaven wants to do the same thing with you a lot of the time. It's just up to us to make the relation in your everyday world become a shadow of our prayer relationship with the Father. As Adam was in the beginning, so the Lord Jesus desires to have that TOTALLY same communication with Him once again. Are we Lazaruses? Sickly in Spirit also? Are we Mary's? Sitting at the feet of Jesus listening to Him, or are we Martha's? Running around doing too much for God and not REALLY listening? Let's ask God today to draw us even deeper into the True Mystery of Christ and our relationship between Him, Us , and the Father. Come Lord Jesus.....
Love to you all. In His humble service, Kurt
